ADAPTED ATHLETE PROGRAM

At Train Like a Girl, strength isn’t just what we lift, it’s how we show up for each other. Our Adapted Athlete Program was created to bring athletes of all genders and abilities together in a space where everyone feels seen, supported, and celebrated.


Here, we train side by side coaches, adapted athletes, and TLAG members, building confidence, connection, and a stronger community with every session. Our team understands that every individual moves differently, learns differently, and thrives with different types of support. That’s why each workout is built with intention, heart, and the belief that progress looks unique for everyone.


Together, we create an atmosphere where inclusion isn't just a word… it’s the way we train, lead, and live.


All sessions take place at Train Like a Girl Studio in Visalia, CA, Where everyone is welcomed, supported, and celebrated. 

Membership Pricing:

At Train Like a Girl, we believe all women and girls deserve access to quality, supportive training.  If pricing is a limiting factor to you, please reach out and ask for more information on our Karma Memberships. 


Group Pricing 

2x/week $99/month

3x/week $119/month

Unlimited $129/month


Private Training 

8 sessions $480 includes unlimited access to all group classes




TLAG Adapted Athlete Inclusive Program (AP) 


TLAG AA Private Training (up to one hour) $85/Session


TLAG AA Small Pod Training (up to one hour) $65/Session


TLAG Daily Rate $95/session 


How the Daily Rate Works

Our Daily Rate is built to give adapted athletes flexibility without surprise add-ons or confusing rules.

You’re only charged for the days you have a scheduled coaching session (group or private). Everything else listed here is included.

On any week you’re on the Daily Rate, you can:

  • Choose how many days per week you want a coached session (group and/or private)
     
  • Use the gym for independent workout time Monday–Saturday during our scheduled independent-use hours
     
  • Add weekly weight-management check-ins
     
  • Add weekly nutrition guidance
     

All of that is included in the same Daily Rate.

 

Big picture:
You decide how many coached days you want each week (1 or 2), and once you’re on the Daily Rate, you’re free to enjoy independent gym time, weight support, and nutrition guidance without extra charges.

FAQ: Train Like a Girl Classes (General Membership)

What types of classes does TLAG offer?

We offer strength, conditioning, interval, and power-based classes for women of all fitness levels. Each session is coach-led and designed to build confidence, strength, and community.

Do I need to be in shape to start?

No. Our classes are beginner-friendly, and coaches offer modifications so every member can train at their own pace.

Can I switch between different class times or days?

Yes. You may attend any class that matches your membership option.

Do I need to bring anything to class?

Just water and comfortable workout clothes. We provide all equipment.

Are the workouts the same every day?

No. Our programming changes throughout the week and monthly to keep training fun, challenging, and effective.

Do TLAG coaches offer private training?

Yes. Private sessions are available for members who prefer one-on-one coaching or want extra support with form, strength goals, or personalized programming.

Can neurotypical clients join Adapted Athlete sessions?

YES! Adapted Athlete sessions are specifically designed for individuals who benefit from additional guidance, structure, or adapted programming.

Can athletes move between group sessions and private training?

Is independent gym access included?

Yes. Athletes may use the gym independently Monday–Saturday during designated hours when on the daily rate plan.

If an athlete trains once a week, can they still come in more often?

Yes. Independent gym use is available even if the athlete attends only one coached session per week.

Can a support person attend sessions with the athlete?

Yes. Families, aides, or caregivers are welcome when support is needed.

Are Adapted Athlete sessions held in the same space as TLAG classes?

Yes, all services take place inside Train Like a Girl Studio in Visalia, CA
